Destination Vancouver volunteers play a key role in making sure visitors have a fantastic time in Vancouver.
From April to October, we have a dedicated team of over 190 knowledgeable volunteers. They share information with locals and visitors across Vancouver and at our information desk locations downtown.

As a volunteer, you will help with directions, offer recommendations, and share tips for exclusive discounts on entertainment and sightseeing tickets.

Volunteer recruitment occurs between January and March every year. Our City Host Volunteer Team for 2024 is full. To join our 2025 volunteer group, please submit your application below.
Help tourists at info desk locations
8am-4pm daily (mid April to mid October); First floor, Vancouver Convention Centre East, 999 Canada Place
Some of our volunteers are stationed at information desk locations in the downtown core—at the Vancouver Convention Centre East and in Gastown.
