Destination Vancouver volunteers play a key role in making sure visitors have a fantastic time in Vancouver.
From April to October, we have a dedicated team of over 190 knowledgeable volunteers. They share information with locals and visitors across Vancouver and at our information desk locations downtown.
Volunteers offer a local perspective
As a volunteer, you will help with directions, offer recommendations, and share tips for exclusive discounts on entertainment and sightseeing tickets.

Currently, we have concluded the application process for our 2025 Volunteer Program and are moving forward with the next steps. If you’re still interested in joining us, we’re excited to share that applications for the 2026 Volunteer Program will reopen in the summer.

Help tourists at info desk locations
Vancouver Convention Centre East: May 1- October 31 (8am-4pm), October 31 - April 30 (10am-3pm)
Our volunteers are stationed at our information desk in the Vancouver Convention Centre East year-round and seasonally at our kiosks.
