Established in 1977, Uno Langmann Limited Fine Art is widely known for exhibiting some of the most influential artists from the international market. Uno Langmann Limited Fine Art is committed to maintaining the highest level of integrity, professionalism and connoisseurship. Museums, private collectors and corporate collections have come to rely on the gallery for a full range of services relating to acquisitions, consignment, sales, appraisals, conservation, and framing. Uno Langmann is interested in acquiring works through purchase or consignment, offering clients a discreet, confidential and more appealing alternative to the public auction marketplace at lower commission rates. Originally from Denmark, owner Uno Langmann has been a fixture of the local art and antique market since he first went into business in 1968. Between 1979 and 1981 Uno Langmann established Sotheby Parke Bernet in Vancouver, and became Sotheby’s sole representative in the Northwest. Uno Langmann Limited has participated in major vetted Fine Art and Antiques Fairs in Canada and the United States. Both Uno Langmann and his daughter Jeanette Langmann are experts on the CBC’s Canadian Antiques Roadshow. A member of the Art Dealers Association of Canada, Uno Langmann is also a founding member of the Canadian Professional Appraisers (formerly The Canadian Association of Personal Property Appraisers) and a member of the Canadian Antique Dealers Association.
