With the announcement of the inaugural Vancouver Michelin Guide to be revealed in the fall, Michelin travel experts have also released a list of Vancouver’s luxurious hotels that earned their stamp of approval. From boutique properties to world-class accommodations, here are eight Vancouver hotels that made the cut:

Built on the Asian model, the Shangri-La offers guests various office, retail, dining, and residential spaces. Surrounded by more opulence, guests can step out on Alberni Street, the designer district of downtown Vancouver.
This landmark hotel has housed Hollywood’s biggest names including Elvis and Katherine Hepburn, who dined in the privacy of her room and reportedly introduced the very concept of “room service” to the hotel.
