It’s (almost) summertime and the living is easy! With reports that the 2019 summer in Vancouver could be the hottest on record, it’s time to take note of all the places to beat the heat.

Vancouver is lucky to be surrounded by a giant natural outdoor pool (the ocean), but – let’s be honest, not everyone likes to swim in it. Sometimes, lounging on the deck of a man-made pool is a little more relaxing.

So, if you’re looking to cool down this summer in Vancouver, make sure you check out one (or all!) of these fabulous outdoor pools. One of them has even been named one of the “sexiest pools in the world” by RedBull!

Kitsilano Pool

Known more commonly as Kits Pool, the “third sexiest pool in the world” is also one of the longest in Canada (almost 3 times the length of an Olympic-sized pool), and the only heated saltwater pool in the city.

More importantly, it’s got amazing views and more than enough space to spend an afternoon lounging on a beach towel with snacks, music, and friends. There is also a shallow section, tons of slides, and a waterpark to make Kits Pool extra family-friendly.

Dates open: Daily until September 15, 2019

Price of admission: Adult: $6.10, Youth: $4.27, child: $3.05, Senior: $4.27
