Biking in Stanley Park

No visit to Vancouver would be complete without a ride around the Stanley Park Seawall. The flat, paved path is 10 kilometres (6 miles) in length and circles the entire park. It offers spectacular views of the North Shore mountains and Lions Gate Bridge. Pedal beneath the giant trees in the park. Ride past the rose garden and the Vancouver Rowing Club. There are many places to stop and enjoy the scenery or to picnic on the beachside.

For those looking for a bit of fun off the pavement, Stanley Park features some gravel and dirt trails through the middle of the park, all of which are shared with hikers.

Bikes of all sorts, from tandem to mountain, can be rented close to the entrance of Stanley Park, specifically along Denman Street between Davie and West Georgia Streets. Note that bicycles can't be rented inside the park.
