5 Dreamy Vancouver-Area Lavender Farms to Visit in Summer 2023

Wander between rows of gorgeous purple blooms as the scent of lavender fills the air. It’s lavender season at these five Vancouver-area farms and gardens.

VanDusen Botanical Garden, Vancouver

VanDusen Botanical Garden is known for dozens of types of gorgeous flowers. Located in the heart of Vancouver, it’s easy to get there by bike or on the #17 bus. In late June and July, stroll down the Lavender Walk to enjoy the beautiful indigo blooms. You can find it behind the rose garden.

Location: 5151 Oak Street, Vancouver

Open: Year-round

Tickets: $12.30/adult, $8.60/youth or senior, $6.15/child. Tickets are available online or at the gate.

Lavenderland, Richmond

Richmond’s Lavenderland has seven acres of flowers. They grow four varieties of lavender that bloom between June and September, so there are flowers to admire all summer long. You can also get to Lavenderland via the #403 bus, which stops right outside the entrance.

Location: 8460 Steveston Highway, Richmond

Open: June 14 to September 30, 2023

Tickets: $13-15/adult, $12/child or senior. Tickets are available online or at the gate.

Full Bloom Lavender Farm, Langley

Wander through the rows of lavender at the family-run Full Bloom Lavender Farm in Langley. They have over 2,300 plants from nine different lavender varieties. You can purchase fresh or dried lavender and lots of lavender products. If you’re planning an epic photo shoot, you can also book a private photo session.

Location: 2926 248th Street, Langley

Open: June 16 to late July

Tuscan Farm Gardens, Abottsford

Abbotsford’s Tuscan Farm Gardens specializes in lavender, but you can also experience a field of wildflowers, a lily pond, fountains, and a gazebo. Their farm shop sells handmade products crafted with flowers and herbs grown on the farm. Don’t miss the lavender ice cream and other treats.

Location: 6834 Mount Lehman Road, Abbotsford

Open: June 14 to late July

Tickets: $6-$12.50 per person. Available for purchase at the farm.

Harrison Lavender

This small lavender farm near Harrison Lake has beautiful lavender fields surrounding a quaint shop that sells tons of different lavender products including soaps, candles, honey, and lots more.

Location: 3777 Wildwood Drive, Agassiz

Open: Shop and fields open year-round, but the bloom is best between mid-June and late July.

Tickets: Not required. Admission to the fields and store is free.
