Opened in September 2018, Uno Gelato is brought to Vancouver by James Coleridge, one of the world’s most decorated gelato maestros. Formerly serving up his delicious gelato at beloved Bella Gelateria, Maestro James continues to serve his freshly made creations—from Midnight Chocolate to Komboucha—at three locations: Kitsilano, Stamps Landing, and Burrard Landing.

Hugely popular in Japan, Nana’s officially opened in Vancouver’s trendy Kerrisdale neighbourhood in June 2018. Featuring primarily drinks and desserts—with tea, of course—this is the perfect spot to satisfy your sweet tooth. Try the Matcha Shiratama Parfait, jam-packed with matcha pudding, vanilla and matcha ice cream, cereal, mochi balls, red bean paste, and topped with matcha syrup and whipped cream.

Though the menu changes weekly, you can always count on delicious food and dessert options from Hey Kokomo, especially with a new location in Vancouver’s Kitsilano neighbourhood. Past dessert options include Cocowhip, a vegan, gluten, and dairy-free soft serve, topped with raw chocolate brownies, chocolate sauce, hemp hearts, and crunchy cacao nibs; vegan cinnamon buns; and orange fig pecan chia seed scones. Opening mid-September 2018, this biscuit-focused spot in Kitsilano features everything from the biscuit burger (with beef, lettuce, cheese, onion bacon jam, and garlic aioli) to the mouth-watering french toast biscuit with berry compote and whip. Other sweet eats include homemade cinnamon rolls and the glazed bonut with a sweet milk glaze. A must hit spot for breakfast, dinner, and dessert.
