The downtown Vancouver tradition – afternoon tea – is now available to-go, just in time for warmer weather.

Notch8 Restaurant at Fairmont Hotel Vancouver, downtown Vancouver’s “Castle in the City,” has made its iconic Afternoon Tea available to-go on Saturdays and Sundays, with pick-up times of 12:00pm and 2:00pm each day.

This limited-time Afternoon Tea To-Go offering gives Vancouverites the option to enjoy one of their favourite downtown traditions outdoors during the beautiful summer months. Featuring all of the delectable bite-sized savoury and sweet treats tea-goers have come to love. This Afternoon Tea To-Go offering comes on a uniquely presented to-go tea tower, perfect for sharing and for capturing the quintessential summer picnic photo. Each Afternoon Tea To-Go also comes with a selection of Fairmont Lot35 teas, available hot throughout April with iced tea options scheduled to launch in May.

It is a unique time for Vancouver restaurant patrons, with the continued limitations to indoor dining and restrictions in place to keep us all safe,” says David Baarschers, Executive Chef at Fairmont Hotel Vancouver. “This tea to-go experience offers Vancouverites a way to enjoy the tradition of afternoon tea wherever and however they feel most comfortable.

Priced at $69.00 CAD per person with a minimum order of 2 ($138.00 CAD total for 2, inclusive of taxes), Notch8’s Afternoon Tea To-Go is available for online ordering and contactless pick-up.

For those looking to add a little extra sparkle to their Afternoon Tea To-Go experience, Notch8 Restaurant will also have sparkling wine and champagne options available for online ordering and pick-up. Tea-goers can choose from options such as a bottle of Bottega Prosecco ($72.00 CAD) or a bottle of Moët & Chandon Champagne ($180.00 CAD).
