World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), the global leader in professional wrestling, is coming to Vancouver when the 2024 Survivor Series: WarGames heads to Rogers Arena on Saturday, November 30. It's the first time the live event has come to the city and the biggest wrestling competition ever hosted in Vancouver.

Survivor Series, usually scheduled and themed around American Thanksgiving, is one of WWE’s big four annual "premium live events" (PLE) that stream live on pay-per-view (PPV) and the WWE Network (through Sportsnet+ in Canada) alongside SummerSlam, the Royal Rumble, and of course WrestleMania. It's the first PLE/PPV event hosted in Vancouver since 1998 and the third time Survivor Series will take place in Canada.
Expect WWE's biggest superstars, like Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, Roman Reigns, World Heavyweight Champion Gunther, Seth Rollins, Rhea Ripley, Women's World Champion Liv Morgan, and many more, to compete against each other in various championship wrestling matches with different special stipulations. Cheer on your favourite larger-than-life "babyfaces" (good guys) and boo the most hated "heels" (villains).

Now branded "WarGames," Survivor Series is WWE's second longest-running annual live event (since 1987). Historically, it has been centred around one or more four-man tag-team elimination matches where the "survivor(s)" who remains uneliminated is declared the winner(s) of the match.
Starting in 2022, WWE has incorporated a WCW-style WarGames match involving two competing wrestling teams locked inside a steel cage with two rings placed side-by-side to further add some human drama to the main event storyline.
Expect an electric atmosphere in Rogers Arena (home to the NHL's Vancouver Canucks) when all the different superstars punch, kick, bodyslam, and outmaneuver their opponents inside the squared circle. There’s sure to be a raucous crowd thanks to the rich tradition and history of wrestling in Western Canada, including the influential Stampede Wrestling territory and the storied Hart family dynasty.
