Lynx Air is Canada’s newest discount carrier with flights launching April 2022. Lynx will offer service in five Canadian cities to Vancouver: Victoria, Kelowna, Toronto, Calgary, and Winnipeg. Lynx’s ultra low-cost carrier model offers flexibility and choice, a fleet of brand-new Boeing 737 aircrafts, and excellent customer service to create an exceptional travel experience.

The carrier’s first inaugural flight departed from Calgary to Vancouver on April 7, with flights running daily until May 20 when they depart twice daily. Leading up to summer, Lynx will continue to ramp up their schedule, also offering weekly flights departing from Kelowna and Winnipeg to Vancouver.

Destination Vancouver and the Vancouver Hotel Destination Association, along with Tourism Richmond and the Richmond Hotel Destination Association are partnering with Lynx Airlines to giveaway a $100 flight voucher when booking a hotel stay in Vancouver or Richmond. New for international travelers, JetBlue will be launching non-stop routes departing from New York to Vancouver, the carrier’s first Canadian destination, starting on June 9.

Air Canada will be ramping up their flights from Sydney to daily service by May and up to 10 times a week from June 4 to September 4, Brisbane 4 times weekly in July, and departures from Auckland 3 times a week starting November. Additionally, Qantas will have departures from Sydney 4 times a week, and Air New Zealand with services 5 times a week from Auckland.
