Only a few days away, everyone is counting down to the Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025 taking place across Vancouver and Whistler from February 8-16. We are about to welcome the world of international adaptive sporting competitions for wounded, injured, and sick service members and veterans.

Both cities will be engulfed with an electrifying atmosphere as visitors can expect the absolute best out of Vancouver and Whistler as the perfect co-hosts.

The Games

Over five hundred competitors from two dozen nations will compete in eleven adaptive sports at eight venues in Vancouver and Whistler:

Tickets to watch sporting events at venues in Vancouver are General Admission and General Admission Accessible seating with tickets ranging from $13 for initial pool matchups and up to $28 for final matches.

Visit Ticketmaster to purchase tickets. Each ticket purchased for the Opening or Closing Ceremony is also eligible for one free ticket to a basketball, rugby, volleyball, or rowing match. Many events, including basketball, curling, rowing, rugby, swimming, volleyball, and various finals, are already sold out.

All public events and competitions in Whistler are free and open for anyone to attend with no ticket required.

Both the Opening & Closing Ceremonies promise to be incredible entertainment spectacles aimed at empowering sports and recovery with some of the biggest musical acts.

For the Opening Ceremony (Feb. 8 @ BC Place), celebrate with Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, pop superstar Katy Perry, multi-platinum artist Noah Kahan, Victoria-born icon Nelly Furtado, and Quebec alt-pop singer Roxane Bruneau.

At the Closing Ceremony (Feb. 16 @ Rogers Arena), rock out to Nashville country rapper Jelly Roll, Canadian rock legends Barenaked Ladies, and Southern folk duo The War and Treaty to wrap up the Games.

Invictus Villages

Get into the Invictus spirit by visiting the heart of the Games at both Invictus Villages located at the Vancouver Convention Centre (from 11am-7pm) and five different areas throughout Whistler Village (11am-5pm) for live entertainment, medal celebrations, athlete meet-and-greets, special guests, and other performances all for free. There will also be live outdoor competition screenings to cheer on athletes together, food and beverage concessions, and other interactive displays to enjoy.

Make sure to also check out the free Whistler Invictus Concert Series from February 9-13 on the Main Stage, featuring rotating DJs and bands like The Hairfarmers, The Boom Booms, Hey Ocean!, and more.
