2022 TD Vancouver International Jazz Festival Celebrates the Return of In-Person Shows

The TD Vancouver International Jazz Festival, Vancouver’s signature Festival, celebrates its 36th edition this summer from Friday, June 24th to Sunday, July 3rd at a variety of venues around the city. To celebrate the return of in-person shows, over 140 performances will be held this summer.

The Coastal Jazz & Blues Society will be announcing schedules over the next few weeks, including performances by Cécile McLorin Salvant on June 27th and GoGo Penguin on June 28th planned for the Vancouver Playhouse at 600 Hamilton Street in Vancouver. On April 28th, it was annouced that Lucinda Williams, Jazz at Pyatt Hall and the Performance Works Series will be part of the 37th annual 2022 TD Vancouver International Jazz Festival. Three-time GRAMMY award-winning artist Lucinda Williams performs at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre (630 Hamilton Street, Vancouver) on Saturday, July 2nd at 8:00 pm.

Also announced, eight performances are offered as part of the Jazz at Pyatt Hall series (843 Seymour Street, Vancouver), the festival’s home of all things straight-ahead, bebop, and modern jazz. All shows feature an early 7:30 pm start followed by a 9:30 pm late show.
