Nestled between the glimmering waters of the Pacific Ocean and the majestic peaks of coastal mountains, Vancouver is a city that stands in harmonious existence between urban living and the serenity of nature. Adorned with numerous parks, gardens, and green spaces, Vancouver offers its residents and visitors access to an awe-inspiring wonderland of terrain from lush rainforests to picturesque beaches.

Serving as the gateway city to much-loved neighbouring communities - from adventure seekers that trek to Whistler, travellers seeking for relaxation in Victoria, or wine connoisseurs looking to make their way to the Okanagan, Vancouver stands as the shining city that provides a connection to breathtaking natural landscapes.

Among the many gems that surround Vancouver, the city of Nanaimo is just a short journey away. Across the water from the metropolis city, Nanaimo offers a world of breathtaking coastal landscapes and charming waterfronts.

Helping with this journey through the shimmering waters of the Salish Sea, Hullo Ferries set sail this August, transporting regular commuters, day trippers, and tourists from Vancouver to Nanaimo (and vice versa). In partnership with the Snuneymuxw First Nation, the brand-new, high-speed catamarans can take up to 354 seated passengers to and from Nanaimo in 70 minutes. There will be four daily departures each way from downtown Nanaimo and downtown Vancouver, with fares ranging from $40 - $60.
