Vancouver's waterfront is about to get a seriously fun upgrade. Harbour Hoppers, an all-new, human-powered transit system, will launch in Spring 2026. It will offer an innovative way to travel the Seawall without the crowds, traffic, or emissions.

Imagine effortlessly bouncing from BC Place to Science World or hopping from Stanley Park to Canada Place, all while taking in those unbeatable waterfront views. Whether you're catching a World Cup 2026 match, meeting friends for drinks, or just looking for a new way to explore the city, Harbour Hoppers is your ticket to a faster, greener, and more entertaining ride.

Designed to ease congestion on the Seawall, Harbour Hoppers are human-powered inflatable transport pods that let you "hop" between rental stations. No batteries, no noise, just good old-fashioned bounce power.

Simply scan, unlock, and start hopping to your next destination. Each Hopper is equipped with a comfortable stabilizing handle, making the experience enjoyable for everyone.

How to Hop:

Using Harbour Hoppers is as easy as 1-2-hop:

Find a Hopper: Pick a Hopper at any of the nine docking stations along the waterfront.

Scan & Unlock: Use the Harbour Hoppers app to activate your ride.

Bounce Your Way There: Propel forward using your legs and core strength for a smooth ride in designated Hopper lanes.

Dock & Go: End your ride at the nearest Hopper station, then get back to enjoying Vancouver.

Pricing is flexible and pay-as-you-go, with a CAD 3.00 unlock fee + $0.25 per minute, making it an affordable and convenient way to move through the city.
