Gastown is not only rich in history, but you can also find the richest taste in coffees. From boutique cafes and local roasters, there’s a coffee shop at every turn brewing up your go-to latte and favourite confectionery.

For your next stroll down Gastown, check-out these shops to keep you caffeinated and ready for your next adventure:

Right at the tip of Gastown, Buro the Espresso Bar can be found in the triangle that separates Water and Cordova Street. With plenty of light and windows on both sides, this is a great place to people watch.

Continue heading down the left side on Water Street and you’ll find the ever so stylish Café and Maison Kitsune, a chic Paris-meets-Tokyo vibe café and fashion store.

A 5-minute walk down, Prado Café has a prime spot on the corner of Abbott and West Hastings. With its big windows and natural light, this is a great place to sit and enjoy coffee in their signature turquoise mugs.

Right across the street on the other side of Victory Square, an elegant and modern coffee shop awaits. Nemesis Coffee offers carefully prepared coffee and unique pastry offerings.

Down Cambie Street, Revolver Coffee invites you in with a modest fanfare. You can experience the delicate flavours of their rotating seasonal coffee menu through an espresso flight.

One last stop along Cordova, Timbertrain Coffee Roasters offers aromatic coffees made with impressive equipment in a relaxing atmosphere.

And just like that, you’re back where you started from - energized, life in multicolour and a new spring in your step.
