Established in 1998, Vancouver Whale Watch is the original whale watching company in the Vancouver area. Departing from the charming historic fishing village of Steveston. Every year we welcome visitors locally and from around the world. On our 3 to 5 hour tour guests can travel through the spectacular Gulf and San Juan islands discovering magnificent killer whales, humpback whales, sea lions, bald eagles and more breathtaking marine wildlife in their natural habitat. Our professional wildlife guides onboard are well educated on marine mammals, local flora and fauna, waterways and surrounding islands; transforming our fleet of zodiac vessels into floating classrooms. Our boats have been designed specifically for marine mammal viewing, with the highest possible safety standards. Choose between the thrill of a small adventurous zodiac or from an open/semi-covered large zodiac vessel. All vessels have a washroom onboard.

Vancouver Whale Watch provides passengers with the adventure of a lifetime through excellent customer service, first class vessels, and on-the-water education of the west coast eco-system. We emphasize science and conservation while maintaining a fun and professional atmosphere.

Our extensive whale spotting network has given us a 98% sighting success rate - however if you don’t see a whale on your trip you may take advantage of our sight unseen guarantee which states that if you don’t see a whale on your first trip your next trip is on us.

Shuttle service available from Vancouver and Richmond. Parking available and RV's welcome.

Reservations recommended. For more information explore our website or call our office at 604-274-9565.

We look forward to taking you out on one of our fabulous tours!
