Vancouver DeTours is a new project from the acclaimed Tour Guys collective of walking tour guides. Take a deep dive into the multilayered history and spaces of the city by going off-course from the standard paths and stories. A ‘detour’ is an indirect route or digression, but to DeTour is also to un-know and reimagine Vancouver in critical new ways.

We’re strong proponents of experiencing cities on foot, and our mission is to bring the hidden aspects of our living heritage into view through walking tours. Join us on some urban explorations of the history, art, culture, and contemporary processes that make up the metropolis.
